First let us introduce ourselves.......
Richard
I am the main Dutch breeder in the family. I have been a member of the BRC for 6 years and have bred and exhibited all 7 colours of Dutch during this time. I am currently breeding blacks and blues and am beginning to enjoy some big wins with own bred rabbits.
Leah
I have been a BRC member for 15 years and have been involved in all aspects of the Fancy, from breeding and exhibiting to Judging and running local and Area Specialist clubs. I have kept many different breeds from all 4 sections over the years, but I now just keep chocolate and brown-grey Dutch. Richard and I are currently the secretaries of the Greater London Dutch Rabbit Club (although I do most of the work!!) I am also a BRC District Advisor for my area.
Joshua & Charlotte
Josh is now 3 years old and loves to cuddle our rabbits and 'blow' their coats just like we do, he even helps to groom them (and his many Dutch rabbit cuddly toys) ready for shows. He has already attended several shows up and down the country and has a clear interest in rabbits with Dutch markings. We have joined him to some Area Dutch clubs, as a junior member, and have given him a pet blue Dutch buck called Elroy to show with. Charlotte is the newest addition to our family born on Christmas Day 2007. We are hoping she will share a love of rabbits with her brother when she is old enough although she seems more interested in cats than rabbits.
